Street Lighting Apprentice

Installation and maintenance

Location: UK wide
Duration: Four years

When you join E.ON as an apprentice on our four year Street Lighting Installation and Maintenance scheme, you can look forward to a bright future.

You’ll finish the apprenticeship with qualifications in highways electrical systems and electrical power engineering as well as an NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Servicing Highways Electrical Engineering – and the chance to apply for a permanent role with us.

This is a real path to a valuable career for people with the right qualities – in fact, the head of our street lighting department is just one of the people who started out as an E.ON apprentice.

Offshore Wind Farm Technician Apprentice

Become a technician of the future

Location: Rampion
Duration: Four years
Start date: Early September

This apprenticeship will give you the chance to work on our UK fleet of offshore wind turbines. Your role will give you the chance to develop specific technical skills to allow you to work effectively on the inspection and overhaul of operational wind turbines and supporting equipment.

At the end of your Apprenticeship, you’ll have a BTEC National Diploma Level 3 and an NVQ Level 3 along with specific qualifications from wind turbine suppliers and the necessary training required to work safely offshore.

This apprenticeship is not just a real alternative to university, but also a genuine chance to learn and prove yourself at one of the largest power and gas companies in the world.
