We are currently recruiting for Field Service Advisors to join us as we create one of the biggest – and most advanced – Field Operations teams in the UK.  

As a Field Service Advisor, you'll be the face of E.ON on our customers' doorstep, visiting our residential and commercial premises on a daily basis to check their gas and electricity readings, inspect connections, capture important data and provide onsite customer service.

Putting you in control

You'll play a key role in helping customers control the energy they use, and work autonomously in all weathers to deliver fantastic customer service. In many ways you’ll feel like your own boss.

Not only that, but you will make your own judgment calls – reading situations to decide whether it is appropriate for you to call and ensuring your own and your customers' safety at all times.

It’s an exciting time to join this area. We’re steadily replacing our traditional meters with digital smart meters that give our customers even more control over their usage.

As a result, there will be more and more opportunities to move into smart engineering; a great opportunity to develop your skills still further.

Who we're looking for

You'll be an ambassador for E.ON in your local community and you'll leave a lasting positive impression on the customers. We are looking for people who are time efficient, amazing customer service advocates and, as the role is reasonably active, you too will be required to be physically fit.

What we'll offer you

  • Pay rate: Starting at £7.63 per hour increasing to £9.88 an hour after 12 weeks
  • Annual leave: 28 days per annum pro rata for the first 12 weeks increasing to 34 days per annum thereafter
  • Duration: You'll join on a temporary ongoing basis with the potential to progress and apply for permanent positions
